Chipotle is adding back its Carne Asada to its menu items for a limited time. The chain decided to bring back the menu after undergoing an extensive vetting process to find more suppliers that meet their stringent food with Integrity standards.
Chipotle’s Carne Asada features grilled in small batches, seasoned with a blend of spices, hand cut into slices, and is finished with fresh squeezed lime and hand-chopped cilantro.
The premium meat option was made available to Chipotle’s rewards members in the United States between September 22 and 23. Thereafter, everyone had access to Carne Asada via the chain’s website and its app from September 24 through September 27. Beginning from today, Monday September 28, the menu will be available in-restaurant. Also, in addition to all the chain’s digital channels, customers will be able to order Carne Asada from third party delivery partners such as DoorDash and Uber Eats.
