Johnny Rockets is an international operator and franchisor American-styled restaurant founded by Ronn Teitelbaum. It had been Teitelbaum dream to own and run a 1940’s-themed dinner that was reminiscent of the nostalgia he felt for his childhood memories of restaurants. This motivated the opening of the very first Johnny Rockets in Los Angeles on 6th of June, 1986.
The company was founded on the tenet that everyone deserves a serene place where he or she can escape the present difficult world and experience food, fun and friendliness. The restaurateur from the onset targeted customers who have become weary of fast food and are interested in fresh-cooked meals served in a friendly atmosphere with upbeat music, for optimum relaxation a causal fun. From a 1940’s malt-shop theme restaurant, Johnny Rockets has become an international brand with over 351 units in about 35 U.S. states and 26 countries around the world. It boasts of international units across, South-east Asia, the Middle-east, Australia, the Caribbean, South America and Africa.
