Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was founded by Todd Graves and Craig Silver in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States in 1996. The founders had challenge about raising funds before their dream became a reality. They presented their business plan to various potential investors but it was turned down over and over again. They told him that chicken finger restaurant will not work. But that did not stop them from pursuing his dream. Grave had to work in refineries in California. He also fished for Sockeye Salmon in Alaska so that he could raise some money. The duo later secured SBA loan and that was what they used for the opening of the first restaurant location in Baton Rouge.
