Sarku Japan menu

About Sarku Japan

Sarku Japan is the biggest and most profitable Japanese Fast Service Restaurant (QSR) chain in the United States. We run over 240 stores across the US and can be found in over 200 food courts in high-profile malls across the world and international markets such as South America.

The first Sarku Japan was opened in 1987, and the owners were a little hesitant. Despite several other common Asian foods, it was not clear how the audience would respond to the Japanese flavors and cooking style. Good quality ingredients and fresh vegetables, paired with expert seasonings, have made Sarku Japan an immediate success with residents. A variety of other locations have been continuously added over a few short years. Currently, Sarku Japan has more than 250 fast food hubs and dining establishments in North and South America. Continued success is primarily attributed to the conventional planning and choice of food products that are regularly available at all places.

Sarku Japan proposes a 20% cut in the franchise price for eligible veterans.

In June, the company signed a multi-year master license agreement with Frisby Corp. to open 20 Sarku Japan Teriyaki and Sushi Express stand-alone restaurants in Colombia within the next ten years.

In April, the company signed a multi-unit deal in Vietnam to open a dozen stores within the next three years. There are also preliminary plans to open in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe as long as the “right partners” come along.

Another indicator that Sarku Japan is on the verge of ambitious development is the move from food court settings to outdoor locations and stand-alone units.

Expansion beyond the conventional food court environment is a logical development for balanced restaurant chains. Chains that have successfully made this move include Panda Express and Chick-fil-A. Sarku Japan stands out from competing restaurant options because their order-to-order strategy satisfies diners and means that there is still a long queue in the food court.

Apart from the fast service offerings, Sarku Japan also provides a range of dining options at stand-alone restaurants. The ordering process and the planning system allow customers to configure their order, add extra proteins and replace side orders. They will then watch qualified Sarku Japanese chefs sizzle their steaming barbecue order. The secret signature Teriyaki sauce is kindly applied to every order, and most of the guests ask for extra help.

Sarku Japan caters to customers who may be pressed for a while but still want a tasty meal. Offering freshly made meals right in front of the counter, the chain serves a range of teriyaki dishes, including chicken, shrimp, and beef with a side of noodles or rice and mixed vegetables to accent each order. Other specialties, such as sushi, are also available depending on the venue.

The company’s mission remains the same as it has always been: To share the fresh ways of traditional Japanese cooking with the rest of the world. That’s exactly what you’ll find at every one of their locations: Meals cooked-to-order right in front of you. Fresh flavors.
